Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully. They govern your rights, obligations, and liabilities when using mzansibet.com.

By accessing or using the website, you enter into a legal agreement with SMS2Bet Betting Services (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2009/007749/07), headquartered at 360 Business Park, 3rd Floor, 8 Wessex Street, Paarden Eiland, Cape Town 7420, and its affiliates (collectively “Mzansibet”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

Mzansibet operates under a bookmaker’s license issued by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board, license number 10144175-016.

Use of the website, including registration, placing bets, and participation in promotions, implies acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any provision, you must stop using the website.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms from time to time to comply with regulatory requirements or for operational reasons. All changes appear on the website. Major changes will be communicated in advance. Continuing to use the site after amendments means you accept them.

Your access, registration, and betting activities are also governed by applicable South African law, including the National Gambling Act, Western Cape Gambling and Racing Act, FICA, and related regulations. Any violation of these Terms is strictly prohibited.

1. Definitions

Unless the context requires otherwise, in these Terms:

Business Day: any day other than Saturday, Sunday, or a public holiday in South Africa when banks operate.
Customer / You / Your: registered user or player.
FICA: Financial Intelligence Centre Act, 2001 (as amended).
POPIA: Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (as amended).
The Rules: Bookmakers’ operational rules and related regulations.
WCGRB: Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.
Website / Site: mzansibet.com and its subdomains.

2. Age & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Website. Any attempt by a minor to bet is void and prohibited.

3. Account Registration & KYC

To open an account, you must provide accurate personal information (name, address, date of birth, etc.). We may require identity verification documents before activating your account or processing withdrawals. Only one account per person is permitted. Accounts cannot be shared or transferred.

4. Funds & Credit

We do not offer credit. You can place bets only with funds available in your account. If a bet is accepted without sufficient funds, we may void the bet or reverse it.

5. Placing Bets

Ensure your stake details are correct before confirming — once placed, wagers cannot be changed or cancelled (except as permitted). We may refuse or cancel any bet prior to the event and refund the stake. Bets accepted after the start time shown on the site will be void. Each accepted bet receives a unique transaction reference. Bets without a valid reference may not be honored.

6. Deposits

You may deposit funds via:

Credit / debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.)
Bank transfer (EFT / Direct Bank Transfer)
Payment vouchers

For bank transfers, a minimum deposit (e.g. R50) may apply and processing can take 2–3 business days. Vouchers may need to be fully wagered before withdrawals are permitted. Incorrect payment details can lead to fund reversal.

7. Withdrawals & Winnings

Winnings are paid only in South African Rands (ZAR) to your original deposit method or bank account. A withdrawal request may only be processed if sufficient funds exist and meets minimum limits. Withdrawal processing may take up to five (5) business days. We may require identity verification (KYC). Suspicious activity may delay, refuse, or cancel withdrawals. Bonus‑related funds or incorrectly credited amounts may be voided.

8. Bonuses & Promotions

All bonuses and promotional offers (“Bonuses”) are subject to additional terms. They are limited to one per person, household, address, IP, device, or payment method. We reserve the right to refuse, withdraw or adjust any bonus. Abuse may lead to cancellation of winnings or account suspension.

9. Payout Limits

Limits may vary by bet type or user and are published on our site. You must review all applicable limits before placing bets.

10. Indebtedness & Set‑Off

We may recover debts owed to us by adjusting your account, voiding bets, or withholding funds. We may cancel bets placed with incorrectly credited funds or breach of Terms.

11. Dormant Accounts

An account is deemed inactive if no deposit or bet occurs for 90 days. If inactivity continues for 365 days and the account has a balance, a monthly admin fee (e.g. R30) may apply. After 30 months, we may close the account and return or donate the funds. You can reactivate by depositing or placing a bet.

12. Suspension & Account Closure

You may request account closure; negative balances become due. We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, misuse, violation, or regulatory demand. Funds, bets or winnings may be withheld, adjusted, or voided.

13. Anti‑Fraud & AML

We monitor activity for unlawful behavior. We may freeze or suspend accounts and report transactions as required by law.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website (design, text, graphics, logos) belongs to Mzansibet or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, edit or commercially use content without permission.

15. Liability

We make no warranties about uninterrupted service or error‑free operation. We are not liable for indirect losses (lost profits, etc.). Our liability is limited to direct damages as permitted by law.

16. Use of Software & Website

You may use the site and software only for intended purpose. Do not use bots, scripts, or interfere with site operation. Third-party software is subject to its own terms.

17. Errors & Adjustments

If pricing or typographical errors occur, we may correct or void affected bets and refund stakes. We will endeavor to notify users before event commencement.

18. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Complaints should first be addressed to us; unresolved disputes may be escalated to the Western Cape Gambling & Racing Board (WCGRB).

19. Termination & Breach

These Terms remain in force until terminated. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach, with funds and winnings withheld or adjusted as necessary.

20. Responsible Gambling

We comply with the POPIA law. Personal information is processed under FICA, KYC, and our Privacy Policy.

22. Miscellaneous

These Terms and posted rules constitute the complete agreement. If part is invalid, the remainder stands. We may assign rights or delegate obligations. No partnership or agency is created by these Terms.

23. Interpretation

Singular includes plural and vice versa. Gender terms are inclusive. Headings are for convenience. “Including” means “including without limitation”. “R” denotes South African Rand (ZAR).
